383 Days of Conflict: Casualties Mount and Displacement Centers Evacuated in Gaza

Gaza: Israeli airstrikes persisted across the Gaza Strip on the 383rd day of ongoing hostilities, resulting in numerous casualties and the evacuation of displacement centers in the northern region. The sustained military operations have led to significant loss of life and injuries among civilians. According to Maan News Agency, Israeli forces have conducted seven attacks over the past 48 hours, causing the deaths of 115 individuals and injuring 487 others. The cumulative death toll since the conflict escalated on October 7 has now reached 42,718, with 100,282 people reported wounded. The ground offensive continues unabated for the nineteenth day in the northern Gaza area, with the besiegement of medical facilities such as Al-Awda Hospital and Kamal Adwan Hospital severely hindering access to healthcare for the injured. Amidst the intensified military actions, Israeli forces evacuated displaced persons from schools in Beit Lahia, using gunfire and making arrests. Additionally, some detainees were released wh ile others were transferred to Israeli prisons. The Halawa family, including a mother and her two children, was among those killed in airstrikes targeting their home in Jabalia al-Balad. In related incidents, a young man named Abdul Rahim Abu Mahadi was killed, having lost his brother Mohammed in the conflict months prior. Further, two individuals perished, and ten others sustained injuries, during an attack on Osama Bin Zaid School in Beit Lahia. Additional casualties occurred in Jabalia camp and near the Dawlah junction in Gaza City. In central Gaza, airstrikes targeted a vehicle in Deir al-Balah and residential buildings in Nuseirat camp, leading to further deaths and injuries. In the southern Gaza Strip, air raids led to fatalities in Abasan al-Kabira, Khan Yunis, and Rafah regions. These strikes on clinics, tents, and other structures have exacerbated the humanitarian situation, drawing attention to the ongoing crisis in the region.
