Amman: The 16th edition of the Amman Summer Festival is set to commence on the 12th of this month. Organized by the Greater Amman Municipality (GAM), the festival will take place at al-Hussein Gardens and al-Jubaiha Gardens, featuring a rich blend of national, cultural, and family-oriented activities. GAM announced that the festival program includes national performances, folkloric shows, traditional markets showcasing heritage crafts and local cuisine, as well as dedicated playgrounds for children. Free parking will be available behind the Royal Academy of Culinary Arts, with free transportation to al-Hussein Gardens provided. Citizens are encouraged to join and participate in the festival's diverse activities. The festival aims to promote tourism, create a welcoming environment for both Jordanian citizens and visitors, and convey messages of civic responsibility through theatrical presentations that emphasize the importance of good citizenship.
