SHARJAH: Tariq Saeed Allay, Director-General of the Sharjah Government Media Bureau, confirmed that more than 250 speakers specialised in government communication from various countries around the world are participating in the International Government Communication Forum (IGCF) 2024, The event, which is organising more than 160 events and workshops, has completed its final preparations for the launch of its 13th edition the day after tomorrow, he said. Allay extended an invitation to the public to attend the activities of the new edition of the IGCF 2024, which is held under the theme 'Agile Governments... Innovative Communication', on Wednesday and Thursday, 4-5 September, at the Expo Centre Sharjah, and to learn about the latest news from the forum. He added, 'In this edition of the IGCF, we are attracting more than 250 speakers from different countries of the world, specialised in the field of government communication. The forum includes more than 160 events and workshops, as well as discussions for di fferent segments of society. This year, we are focusing on the children's category, and they will have a platform to participate and contribute with their ideas and suggestions.' Allay pointed out that there will be a platform for youth and adolescents in the forum, as well as for academics, during which the most prominent studies, research and books in the field of government communication and media in general will be presented, hoping to succeed in presenting an edition that provides recommendations benefiting people working in the field of government communication.
