Egyptian Consul Baher El Showeikhi visited Wednesday the Egyptian pavilion - comprising 50 firms - at the Asia Fruit Logistica held annually in Hong Kong. The companies' participation in the fresh vegetable and fruit exhibition, running on September 4-6, was coordinated by the Egyptian Agriculture Export Council (EAC). On his side, the ambassador briefed their representatives on incentives offered by Hong Kong and Macau, and that they can leverage to boost their exports. Between January and August, Egypt's agricultural exports exceeded 5.6 million tons. Source: State Information Service Egypt
