According to the directorate's statement, 'The earthquake occurred on September 21 at 14:55 (09:55 Moscow time) in the Olkhon region, 25 kilometers from the village of Bogoldika in the Lake Baikal basin.' The Emergency Situations Directorate's statement indicated that "the earthquake did not result in any destruction or casualties, and all infrastructure facilities in the region are operating normally."
