e-finance for Digital and Financial Investments (e-finance) has announced the launch of ECOM Africa, a new e-commerce platform developed in partnership with its subsidiary eAswaaq and Post for Investment, a subsidiary of Egypt Post. The project will also involve collaboration with local and regional initiatives across both the private and public sectors. ECOM Africa will focus on creating and managing electronic marketplaces for the African market, offering services such as website development, online payment solutions, and database management. The platform aims to tackle challenges in African e-commerce while leveraging Egypt's strategic location and growing tech sector. The new platform is expected to enhance African e-commerce by connecting businesses with international markets and strengthening the region's digital infrastructure.
