MOSCOW: Kremlin spokesperson, Dmitry Peskov, warned that Israel's indiscriminate bombing of residential areas in Lebanon will inevitably lead to a humanitarian catastrophe, similar to the situation in Gaza. Speaking at a press conference on Monday, Peskov noted that the attacks have already caused numerous casualties. "This will inevitably lead to a humanitarian disaster, much like what we are witnessing in Gaza," he stated. When questioned about the likelihood of a major regional war following the killing of Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah by Israel, Peskov responded, "The chances are very high."
