China Introduces Guidelines to Boost Green Finance Initiatives

Beijing: China has introduced a comprehensive guideline aimed at enhancing green finance, focusing on ecological protection and the sustainable development of key industries, as reported by Xinhua News Agency.

According to Emirates News Agency, the guideline, which was jointly issued by four governmental bodies including the People’s Bank of China and the Ministry of Ecology and Environment, includes 19 significant measures to support the initiative dubbed ‘building a beautiful China’. These measures are designed to improve the precision of financial support by creating a project library that aligns with the nation’s ecological and environmental goals.

The document emphasizes the need for financial institutions to bolster their ability to offer green financial services, and it also suggests expanding the variety and reach of these services. Among the outlined actions, there is a clear directive to increase the issuance of loans and enhance financial backing for sectors committed to green development.

Innov
