Islamic Resistance Claims Multiple Strikes on Israeli Targets


KHALLAT WARDA: The “Islamic Resistance” has claimed responsibility for a series of attacks on Israeli military positions and settlements today, including a rocket strike on forces gathered in Khallet Warda. These actions reflect the group’s ongoing support for the people of Gaza and Lebanon, according to a statement released by the organization.

According to National News Agency-Lebanon, the group’s communique detailed the series of coordinated assaults on Israeli targets. At 3:15 p.m., a rocket salvo was launched at Israeli forces in Khallet Warda. The communique further stated that earlier in the day, at 5:30 a.m., the Islamic Resistance targeted the Haboushit site with a missile salvo. At the same time, at 3:15 p.m., a guided missile reportedly hit an Israeli tank south of al-Qawzah town, leading to the tank burning and causing casualties among its crew. Additionally, at 2:03 p.m., a large missile salvo struck the Tzurit base located west of Karmiel, and at 1:50 p.m., the Israeli settlement of Kiryat Shmo
na was hit by rockets.

The Islamic Resistance has characterized these attacks as a defensive measure in support of the Palestinian cause in Gaza and to protect Lebanese sovereignty. The group’s repeated targeting of Israeli sites today highlights the ongoing tensions in the region.
