Cabinet to Hold Inaugural Provincial Meeting in Karak

AMMAN: The Cabinet of Jordan is set to hold its first provincial meeting in Karak on Tuesday, marking a new initiative by the government to engage more closely with various regions across the Kingdom. According to Jordan News Agency, Prime Minister Jaafar Hassan, during the opening session of the new government, announced that the Council of Ministers would conduct monthly meetings in different provinces. This move aims to decentralize governmental functions and foster closer communication between national leaders and local communities. The meeting in Karak is the first in this series of provincial gatherings. In addition to these monthly provincial meetings, Prime Minister Hassan will also undertake weekly field visits to different areas throughout the Kingdom. These visits are part of the government's efforts to directly assess and respond to the local needs and challenges facing different regions. This initiative reflects the government's commitment to ensuring that all regions of Jordan are included in the national dialogue and have direct access to executive decision-makers.
