Local Revenues in Jordan Surpass JOD 5.9 Billion in Eight Months

Amman: Local revenues in Jordan have reached a remarkable JOD 5.973 billion during the first eight months of 2024, indicating a robust increase in the country's financial health. According to Jordan News Agency, this revenue marks an improvement of approximately JOD 100.5 million compared to the same period in the previous year. The increased revenue has been crucial in covering 89.8% of the current expenditures, showcasing an efficient governmental fiscal management strategy. The Ministry's report highlights the successful implementation of various economic reforms and fiscal policies aimed at enhancing revenue streams and optimizing expenditure.
