Manama: Crown Prince and Prime Minister of Bahrain, Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa held a strategic discussion over the phone with President of the European Council, Charles Michel, focusing on mutual interests and significant regional and international developments. According to Kuwait News Agency, the conversation, which took place on Tuesday, served as a platform for both leaders to express their satisfaction with the growing close relations between Bahrain and the European Union. They acknowledged the progress made in joint cooperation across various sectors. The discussion also covered topics related to the upcoming Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) - EU summit. This important meeting is scheduled to take place in Brussels, Belgium, on Wednesday, aiming to further enhance the partnership between the GCC countries and the European Union.
