Titled "The Future of AI and Sport," the report, developed in collaboration with The Future Laboratory, details how AI will revolutionize various aspects of sports including strategy, talent scouting, fan engagement, athlete health, and performance. According to Emirates News Agency, "The Future of AI and Sport" report illustrates G42's commitment to AI as a beneficial force in sports. The company has established partnerships with prominent sports organizations like the Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS Formula One Team and UAE Team Emirates, positioning itself at the vanguard of exploring new methods for enhancing sports performance and strategies through AI. The report predicts that AI will become essential in sports, with the sports AI market expected to reach $30 billion by 2032, growing at an annual rate of 30%. The document explores five key domains where AI will have a significant impact: Strategy and Tactics, Talent, Engagement, Health and Performance, and Design. It discusses the use of data-driven analysis to optimize team tactics, the enhancement of fan experiences through personalized content, and the provision of real-time health monitoring for athletes, demonstrating AI's potential to elevate every facet of the sports ecosystem. Peng Xiao, CEO of G42, commented on the report's findings, stating, "This report is a glimpse into how AI will revolutionize how we play and watch sports. At G42, we believe that the future of sport will be defined by the seamless integration of AI, enhancing not only athletic performance but also the way we engage with the global sports community."
