Palestine Polytechnic University Celebrates First Batch of Doctor of Medicine Graduates

HEBRON: Palestine Polytechnic University has marked a momentous milestone with the graduation of its first cohort of Doctor of Medicine students, a significant achievement underscored by the institution's recent international accreditation. According to Maan News Agency, the graduation event was held under the auspices of the President and members of the Board of Trustees of Palestine Polytechnic University. This inaugural batch of medical graduates coincides with the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences obtaining international accreditation from the World Federation for Medical Education (WFME). This recognition elevates the faculty's standing and assures the quality of education its graduates receive, both locally and internationally. The ceremony was graced by influential individuals from the academic, medical, and economic arenas, alongside the famil ies of the graduates, who expressed pride in their children's accomplishments. The Chairman of the Board of Trustees, Ahmed Saeed Al-Tamimi, delivered a speech highlighting the university's dedication to high educational standards. He emphasized the importance of supporting higher education institutions in Palestine to produce qualified medical professionals who can contribute to the development of both the national and global health systems. In his address, the Minister of Education and Higher Education, Dr. Amjad Barham, lauded the educational achievements of the university and the significance of the WFME accreditation.
