KUWAIT CITY: The Kuwaiti Ministry of Interior has initiated a comprehensive security and traffic enforcement campaign in the Al-Fahaheel area of the southern Al-Ahmadi Governorate. The operation aims to address various legal violations and enhance public safety. According to Kuwait News Agency, the campaign was directed by First Deputy Prime Minister, Defense Minister, and Interior Minister Sheikh Fahad Al-Sabah. The ministry's public relations and security media office announced in a press release on Saturday that the crackdown led to the registration of 2,220 traffic violations and the handling of three drug-related cases. Additionally, authorities arrested 13 individuals for legal transgressions, seized 16 vehicles and motorcycles, and detained two individuals found in an abnormal condition. The security measures are part of ongoing efforts to strengthen the nation's security and stability. The ministry emphasized the importance of public cooperation with security forces and urged citizens and residents to report any violations to the police.
