Settlers Cut Down 30 Olive Trees in Yasuf, East of Salfit

SALFIT: Settlers cut down 30 olive trees in the village of Yasuf, east of Salfit, on Tuesday, escalating tensions in an area frequently troubled by such incidents. The trees, aged between 20 and 25 years, were owned by local citizens Imad Rabah Abdel Razek and Jihad Imad Abdel Razek. According to Maan News Agency, Wael Abu Madi, the head of Yasuf Village Council, stated that settlers from the 'Tafuh' settlement, which is constructed on lands belonging to local citizens, were responsible for the destruction. The attack took place in an area known as 'Al-Karm,' located east of the village. This particular region is reportedly a frequent target of settler attacks, aimed at displacing citizens from their lands.
