According to Kuwait News Agency, the authority emphasized that this certification enhances its role as a "semi-judicial oversight authority," dedicated to adopting top-tier international practices in the field of information technology. The certification acknowledges the authority's efforts in supervising, maintaining, and overhauling IT service systems, alongside providing high-quality services. The Kuwait Capital Market Authority was established under Law 7/2010 with the purpose of regulating securities operations in the country.
