NABATIEH: Israeli warplanes conducted a series of airstrikes across southern Lebanon, targeting several towns and causing significant destruction, including the leveling of a house in Jebchit. The strikes, which occurred throughout the afternoon, also included the use of guided missiles in Kfar Remman and artillery shelling in Burj al-Muluk. According to National News Agency - Lebanon, the first strike took place around 3:00 pm in Kfar Melki, located in the Iqlim al-Tuffah region. Shortly thereafter, the town of Aita al-Shaab was also targeted, with enemy warplanes raiding a house there. In the town of Jebchit, an air raid led to the destruction of a house belonging to the Al-Shabib family near the local mosque. Further actions were reported in Kfar Remman, where a guided missile strike was carried out by enemy aircraft at approximately 4:45 pm in the Tapline area. Additionally, another attack was executed in the Sweidaa area of the same town, involving the use of a drone and a guided missile. In a related development, artillery shelling in Burj al-Muluk resulted in a fire breaking out near residential areas along the Burj al-Muluk-Deir Mimas route. The shelling also led to the burning of several cars parked in front of a house, with Civil Defense unable to access the site due to ongoing bombardment. An air raid was also reported on the outskirts of the town of Douris. These incidents mark a significant escalation in the region, with the series of attacks causing destruction and raising concerns about further developments.
