Islamic Resistance Launches Series of Military Operations Against Israeli Forces Along Lebanese-Palestinian Border

BEIRUT: In a significant escalation of military activities, the Islamic Resistance has issued 48 statements detailing operations against Israeli forces attempting to advance along the Lebanese-Palestinian border. These operations, conducted in support of Palestinians in Gaza and to defend Lebanon, involved a range of tactics including aerial drone assaults and rocket barrages targeting Israeli military sites, bases, and settlements in northern Israel and within occupied Palestinian territories. According to National news agency - Lebanon, the operations commenced at 18:00 on Thursday, October 24, 2024, with Islamic Resistance fighters deploying assault drones to strike Israeli soldiers gathered at the Kfar Giladi quarry. This was followed by a similar drone attack at 17:30 targeting Israeli troops near the Ya'ara settlement. The sequence of attacks continued with rocket barrages hitting Israeli forces in various locations including Al-Taybeh, Masgav Am, and Odaisseh. The Islamic Resistance also engaged in t argeted strikes as part of the 'Khaibar' operations series, aimed at retaliating against Israeli aggressions. Notably, they bombarded the Carmel Base south of Haifa and the Ramat David Air Base with specialized missiles. These operations were conducted in response to perceived aggressions and were marked by the call "Labbeik ya Nasrallah," indicating a rallying cry for support among the Resistance's ranks. Significant engagements included the targeting of Merkava tanks with guided missiles, resulting in critical damage and casualties among their crews. The operation near Masgav Am, for example, saw a Merkava tank destroyed, compelling Israeli forces to retreat. Additionally, the Islamic Resistance's air defense units intercepted an Israeli Hermes 450 drone over Nabatieh, forcing it out of Lebanese airspace.
