Qatar Denounces Israeli Actions Against Iran, Citing Violation of Sovereignty

DOHA: The State of Qatar has publicly condemned Israel for its actions targeting the Islamic Republic of Iran, characterizing the act as a violation of Iran's sovereignty and a breach of international law. According to National news agency - Lebanon, the Qatari Ministry of Foreign Affairs issued a statement on Saturday expressing deep concern over the potential consequences of Israel's actions. The ministry called for all involved parties to exercise restraint and to resolve conflicts through dialogue and peaceful means. It cautioned against actions that might destabilize the region's security and stability. In its statement, Qatar urged the international community to increase efforts to calm tensions and de-escalate the situation. The ministry emphasized the need to address and alleviate the suffering of people in the region, with specific mention of the conditions in Gaza and Lebanon.
