Kuwait Crown Prince Receives Fiscal Reports from KDIPA and Audit Bureau

KUWAIT: His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah received crucial fiscal reports for the year 2023/2024 from the Kuwait Direct Investment Promotion Authority (KDIPA) and the Kuwait Audit Bureau at Bayan Palace on Monday. The presentations were made by senior officials, including Minister of Commerce and Industry, Minister of Finance, and Acting Minister of State for Economic Affairs and Investment Khalifa Al-Askar, and KDIPA's Director General Sheikh Dr. Meshaal Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah. According to Kuwait News Agency, the KDIPA report was formally handed over by the Director General Sheikh Dr. Meshaal, along with Deputy Chairman Wafa Al-Qatami. The report delineates the fiscal activities and investment promotions undertaken by the authority in the current financial year. Subsequently, the President of Kuwait Audit Bureau, Essam Al-Roumi, provided His Highness with the bureau's financial report, outlining the audit and fiscal assessments for the same period. These meetings undersc ore the ongoing efforts of the Kuwaiti government to maintain transparency and accountability in its economic and financial sectors.
