KUWAIT: The Interior Ministry's forensic security department has detained a network of workers involved in the theft of building materials from construction sites in the Al-Mutlaa area. The stolen materials were being resold at lower prices, authorities revealed. According to Kuwait News Agency, the Ministry received multiple reports from citizens regarding the thefts, prompting immediate search and investigation efforts, including stakeouts at suspected sites. The suspects, who have confessed to their involvement in the crimes, have been handed over to specialized authorities for further processing. The investigation led to the discovery of large quantities of building materials in a storage area, which were intended for illegal resale. The Ministry continues to work on preventing such crimes and ensuring the safety of construction projects in the region.
