Emirati Human Resources Development Council and Postal Sector Regulatory Committee Sign MoU to Boost Emiratisation in Courier Sector.

DUBAI: The Emirati Human Resources Development Council (EHRDC) in Dubai has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Regulatory and Licensing Sector of the Postal Sector Regulatory Committee. This agreement aims to enhance Emiratisation within companies operating in the Courier, Express, and Postal sector (CEP). According to Emirates News Agency, the partnership is part of efforts by both parties to support the UAE's national goals by creating more opportunities for Emirati nationals and supporting their integration into the private sector's workforce. The MoU was formalized by Abdulaziz Al Falahi, Emiratisation Recruitment Superintendent at EHRDC, and Mohamed Khalid bin Sulaiman, Chief Regulatory and Licensing Officer at the Regulatory and Licensing Sector. The signing was witnessed by Abdullah Ali bin Zayed Al Falasi, Deputy Chairman of the EHRDC and Director-General of the Human Resources Department in Dubai. The MoU focuses on granting national cadres access to a community of over 160 private companies within the CEP sector. It aims to provide career opportunities for Emirati nationals through dedicated employment initiatives, comprehensive training programs, and professional development programs. These efforts are intended to empower Emirati cadres and ensure their readiness to succeed in the private sector, contributing effectively to the nation's economic and strategic goals. Sultan bin Saeed Al Mansoori, Chairman of the EHRDC, stated that the MoU strengthens efforts to accelerate Emiratisation within the private sector. By expanding opportunities in companies operating in the postal and express delivery sector, Emirati talents are offered the chance to enhance their skills and thrive in competitive business environments. Mohamed Khalid bin Sulaiman, Chief Regulatory and Licensing Officer, emphasized that the MoU aligns with broader efforts to connect private sector companies in the CEP sector with Emirati talents. The primary goal is to support Emiratisation efforts nationally and benefit pr ivate sector companies by leveraging the capabilities and efficiency of Emirati cadres. This collaboration reaffirms the Committee's commitment to developing Emirati cadres and ensuring their readiness for leadership and innovation in the postal and logistics sectors through workshops with key government partners.
