Beirut: House Speaker Nabih Berri met with Army Commander General Joseph Aoun at the second presidential headquarters in Ain al-Tineh to discuss the ongoing security and military situation amidst Israel's continued aggression against Lebanon. According to National News Agency - Lebanon, Berri also held a separate meeting with Ibrahim Kanaan, the Head of the Parliamentary Finance and Budget Committee, to address recent political developments and the plight of displaced persons. During the meeting, Kanaan stressed the importance of the government reviewing budget figures and assured that there would be follow-up discussions with the Prime Minister and the Minister of Finance.
