Beirut: Caretaker Prime Minister, Najib Mikati, has received an invitation from King Salman bin Abdulaziz of Saudi Arabia to participate in the upcoming Arab-Islamic joint summit scheduled for November 11 in Riyadh. The invitation was delivered by the Saudi Ambassador to Lebanon, Walid Bukhari. According to National News Agency - Lebanon, the invitation emphasized the urgency of the summit, highlighting the escalating crisis faced by Palestine and the expansion of conflict to Lebanon. The summit aims to reaffirm Arab and Islamic solidarity to halt Israeli aggression and push for a just resolution to the Palestinian cause. The invitation underscored the importance of establishing an independent Palestinian state with East Jerusalem as its capital. It expressed confidence in Mikati's participation contributing significantly to the summit's success and desired outcomes.
