Beirut: The "Islamic Resistance" in Lebanon has claimed responsibility for launching rocket attacks targeting the Sa'ar settlement north of Nahariya and the Kiryat area north of Haifa. These actions were taken as a demonstration of support for the Palestinian people in Gaza and solidarity with their resistance efforts. The attacks occurred on Thursday, November 7, 2024, with the first salvo aimed at an Israeli army gathering in Sa'ar at 2:05 pm. According to National News Agency - Lebanon, a subsequent attack was carried out at 1:50 pm on the same day, targeting the Kiryat area. These coordinated strikes were described by the group as being in defense of Lebanon and its people. The Islamic Resistance's statements emphasize their commitment to supporting the Palestinian cause and resisting perceived threats to their nation.
