BEIRUT: Lebanese Army Commander, General Joseph Aoun, engaged in discussions concerning the national situation with Caretaker Minister of Information, Ziad Makary, and MP Asaad Dergham at his Yarze office on Thursday. These talks were conducted in the context of the ongoing Israeli aggression on Lebanon. According to National News Agency - Lebanon, General Aoun also held meetings with the Mufti of Zahle and Bekaa, Dr. Sheikh Ali Ghazawi, and the Mufti of Baalbek-Hermel, Sheikh Bakr Rifai. The discussions with the religious leaders focused on various national affairs, reflecting the multifaceted challenges currently facing the country.
