Beirut: Israeli enemy warplanes on Tuesday launched an airstrike on the southern Lebanese town of Kfara in the Bint Jbeil district around 9:55 am, while the town of Sawaneh also came under attack in a separate aerial strike. Earlier this morning, the town of Al-Tayri experienced intermittent shelling. In Tyre region, the outskirts of Yater and Zibqin were targeted with incendiary phosphorus shells, igniting fires in the area. The artillery shelling, involving 155mm rounds, was accompanied by heavy drone and fighter jet activity over the western sector of the Tyre district, heightening tensions and military activity in the region. According to National News Agency - Lebanon, the series of attacks in southern Lebanon have resulted in both physical damage and human casualties. The use of incendiary phosphorus shells in the attacks has caused fires, further exacerbating the situation on the ground.
