Beirut: A Kuwaiti military aircraft touched down at Beirut's Rafic Hariri International Airport on Monday, bringing with it 40 tons of humanitarian and relief supplies as part of Kuwait's ongoing airlift initiative aimed at supporting Lebanon during its current crisis. The aid was facilitated by the Kuwait Red Crescent Society and was received at the airport's airbase by Kuwaiti Chargé d'Affaires Abdullah Shahin, along with representatives from the Kuwaiti Embassy and the Lebanese Red Cross. According to National News Agency - Lebanon, Abdullah Shahin emphasized Kuwait's dedication to aiding Lebanon's growing displacement crisis. He stated that the delivery, comprising shelter and food aid, was the fourth mission conducted by the Kuwaiti Air Force as part of this initiative. Shahin noted that this aid represents a donation from the Kuwait Red Crescent Society to the Lebanese Red Cross, aiming to alleviate the hardships faced by the Lebanese people. Shahin further explained Kuwait's recent humanitarian effor ts in Lebanon, mentioning that the first shipment was delivered to the Lebanese Ministry of Health, while subsequent consignments were provided to the Higher Relief Commission. He stressed that the latest delivery continues Kuwait's coordinated support with Lebanese authorities.
