Defense Minister Meets Delegation from Antonine Technical Institute.

Beirut: Caretaker Defense Minister, Maurice Sleem, on Wednesday welcomed Father Charbel Bou Abboud, head of the Antonine Technical Institute, along with a delegation, to discuss the institute's activities and commemorate Independence Day. According to National News Agency - Lebanon, Father Bou Abboud remarked on Lebanon's 'incomplete independence amid the presidential vacuum and ongoing Israeli aggression,' while commending the Lebanese Army for its sacrifices. He emphasized the significance of the Army's role in maintaining national integrity despite the prevailing political and security challenges. Minister Sleem underscored the Army's unwavering commitment to Lebanon, stating that it continues to provide martyrs for the nation's sovereignty and security despite facing severe challenges. The meeting highlighted the collaboration between educational institutions and national defense forces in fostering a sense of patriotism and resilience among the citizens.
