Beirut: House Speaker Nabih Berri engaged in discussions with French Presidential Envoy Jean-Yves Le Drian at his office, with the meeting also attended by French Ambassador Hervé Magro and media advisor Ali Hamdan. The discussions centered on Lebanon's current political landscape, the presidential election, and the overall situation following the cessation of Israeli aggression. According to National News Agency - Lebanon, Le Drian took the opportunity to observe part of the legislative session from the guest gallery in Parliament's main hall. This visit underscores the importance of the ongoing political developments in Lebanon and the international community's interest in the country's stability. In a series of separate meetings, Berri also welcomed caretaker Prime Minister Najib Mikati before the legislative session, highlighting the continued dialogue among Lebanese leaders amid the political transition. Additionally, Berri received a phone call from Egyptian Foreign Minister Badr Abdel Atty, as well a s Imam Sheikh Abdel Hussein Sadek of Nabatieh, who expressed gratitude for Berri's efforts in supporting displaced citizens and aiding in the cessation of Israeli attacks.
