‘Independent National’ Bloc Names No Candidate for Premiership

Baabda: 'Independent National' bloc did not name any candidate for the premiership, during its meeting with President Joseph Aoun as part of the binding parliamentary consultations at Baabda Palace on Monday.

According to National News Agency - Lebanon, the meeting was part of the ongoing political process where parliamentary blocs are expected to propose candidates for the position of Prime Minister. However, the 'Independent National' bloc decided not to put forward any names during this critical juncture.
