Beirut: Israeli artillery conducted intermittent shelling on the northern outskirts of Kfarchouba, a town in southern Lebanon, this afternoon. The shelling, reportedly originating from Israeli positions in the occupied hills, was accompanied by combing operations utilizing heavy machine guns targeting the town's neighborhoods.
According to National News Agency - Lebanon, an Israeli armored force infiltrated the area from the town of Yaroun towards Maroun al-Ras. Concurrently, Israeli bulldozers continued their operations in the Yaroun Forest for the fourth consecutive day, raising concerns about ongoing incursions.
In response, a Lebanese army force, along with a military bulldozer, entered the town of Aitaroun. The operation aimed to reopen a road that had been closed by Israeli forces the previous day, highlighting the intensifying situation in the region.
