Beirut: MP Ibrahim Kanaan stated, following the 'Independent Consultative Gathering' bloc's meeting with Prime Minister-designate Nawaf Salam at the parliament on Wednesday, that "what matters the most is to rescue Lebanon and exit the dark tunnel."
According to National News Agency - Lebanon, Kanaan expressed hope that the Shia duo would join hands with them, emphasizing the importance of the political will to ensure the success of the new government and tenure.
