Beirut: MP Ihab Matar said that he asked Prime Minister-designate, Nawaf Salam, whom he met at parliament on Thursday, to heed Tripoli and the North, calling the lawmakers to follow a positive approach towards the PM-designate.
According to National News Agency - Lebanon, Matar emphasized the need for focused attention on the region to address its pressing issues. He urged Salam to prioritize the development and welfare of Tripoli and the northern areas in his agenda.
Matar's appeal highlights the ongoing concerns about the socio-economic conditions in these regions, which have long been seeking governmental support and intervention. The call for a positive and cooperative legislative approach aims to facilitate Salam's efforts in addressing these critical issues.
