Baabda: President Joseph Aoun received an invitation from Jordanian King Abdullah II to visit Jordan, relayed to him by Jordanian Foreign Minister Ayman Safadi, whom he met at Baabda Palace on Thursday.
According to National News Agency - Lebanon, the invitation was extended during a meeting between President Aoun and Minister Safadi. The meeting at Baabda Palace was a part of ongoing diplomatic engagements between Lebanon and Jordan, aimed at strengthening bilateral relations.
President Aoun expressed his appreciation for the invitation and highlighted the importance of enhancing cooperation between the two countries. Discussions during the meeting also covered regional issues and mutual interests, reflecting the commitment of both nations to work closely on matters of shared concern.
