Beirut: A hybrid international conference titled "Standards of Quality in Distance and Blended Learning in the Middle East" was organized by the Lebanese Association for Educational and Cultural Renewal, in partnership with University College London and the Lebanese Educators Institute, among others. The event took place at Saint Joseph University's Museum Campus in Beirut, specifically in the Humanities Building, Building C, on the 5th Floor.
According to National News Agency - Lebanon, the conference began at 9:15 am and featured a range of expert-led discussions and panels addressing the growing importance of quality standards in distance and blended learning methods. The collaboration between international and local educational institutions highlights the regional commitment to enhancing educational frameworks.
In another significant event occurring at 10:00 am, the Central Follow-Up Committee of Palestinian Popular Committees in Lebanon conducted a workshop titled "UNRWA: Duties and Challenges" at the Embassy of the State of Palestine in Beirut. This workshop aimed to address the responsibilities and obstacles faced by the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA).
Simultaneously, a tribute activity for martyrs was hosted by the Islamic Education Foundation - School Clubs under the patronage of MP Ibrahim Al-Moussawi, from the Loyalty to the Resistance Bloc. This event took place at Al-Mahdi Schools in Nabi Chit and Shmustar, specifically at the Sayyid Abbas Al-Moussawi Shrine.
Later in the day, at 5:00 pm, the Arab National Forum invited attendees to a "Palestine Discourse" session titled "Al-Aqsa Flood Epic: Questions and Answers." The session, held at Al-Nadwa House in Hamra, featured Maen Bashour as the guest speaker and focused on discussions pertinent to the ongoing issues surrounding Palestine.
