Beirut: Caretaker Minister of Education and Higher Education, Abbas al-Halabi, announced this evening that fabricated statements attributed to the Ministry are being circulated on social media. He clarified that these circulated statements are baseless, confirming that tomorrow, Monday, is a normal school day, unless any other decision is issued by the Council of Ministers Presidency.
According to National News Agency - Lebanon, the Minister emphasized that the Ministry has not issued any statement regarding the suspension of classes. Al-Halabi urged the public to rely only on official channels for information and avoid spreading unverified news. He reiterated that any official changes to the school schedule would be promptly communicated through the appropriate government channels.
