Beirut: President of the Republic, General Joseph Aoun, made a phone call today to Armenian Orthodox Catholicos Aram I Keshishian, offering his deepest condolences over the killing of the Deputy Archbishop of the Armenian Orthodox in Lebanon in charge of managing the community's affairs in Zahle and Anjar, Archimandrite Anania Koujanian, who was the victim of a heinous crime in his home in Bsalim.
According to National News Agency - Lebanon, President Aoun strongly condemned the crime and reassured Catholicos Aram I that the security apparatuses are pursuing their investigations to uncover the crime's circumstances, arrest the perpetrators, and refer them to the concerned judiciary for severe punishment.
