Beirut: The US Embassy in Beirut welcomed the formation of the new Lebanese government headed by Prime Minister Nawaf Salam, and urged that it implement necessary reforms that contribute to "rebuilding institutions" and "combating corruption".
According to National News Agency - Lebanon, the US Embassy issued a statement on the "X" platform, expressing support for the newly proposed cabinet. The statement emphasized that the Lebanese people deserve a government capable of rebuilding state institutions, fighting corruption, and implementing essential reforms. The Embassy urged the drafting of a ministerial statement to help Lebanon overcome current challenges and chart a path toward achieving these goals.
