Beirut: Druze Sheikh Al-Aql, Sami Abi Al-Mona, congratulated the Lebanese on the formation of the new government headed by Dr. Nawaf Salam, wishing its members success in the difficult tasks entrusted to them in the current phase.
According to National News Agency - Lebanon, Sheikh Abi Al-Mona expressed hope that the new cabinet will prioritize radical solutions to the country's economic, social, security, and financial crises. He emphasized the importance of consolidating the ceasefire agreement between Lebanon and Israel and implementing UN Resolution 1701 and international resolutions. Additionally, he highlighted the need for reconstruction and the implementation of required reforms to serve the aspirations of the Lebanese people.
Sheikh Abi Al-Mona also extended his congratulations to the President of the Republic, General Joseph Aoun, on the formation of the first government during his term. In a statement, he acknowledged the importance of this development.
The Sheikh made two phone calls to the Ministers of Public Works and Transport, Fayez Rasamni, and Agriculture, Nizar Hani, wishing them success and gratification in their new roles. He expressed his support for their mission to achieve the hopes and aspirations of the Lebanese people alongside their colleagues.
Sheikh Al-Aql emphasized that this government carries a promise to fulfill the oath of office, strengthening confidence and hope for achieving the desired national goals. He expressed support for the new cabinet in its reform workshop and rescue process.
