Arab Parliament Stands Firm Against Palestinian Displacement

Cairo: The Speaker of the Arab Parliament, Mohammed Al-Yamahi, affirmed the Arab Parliament's support and backing for the Arab and Egyptian position in the reconstruction of the Gaza Strip, and its categorical rejection of the displacement of the Palestinian people from their land in Gaza and the West Bank.

According to National News Agency - Lebanon, Al-Yamahi emphasized the importance of implementing a comprehensive reconstruction process in the Gaza Strip as soon as possible, ensuring that Palestinians remain on their land, especially given their steadfastness and complete adherence to their homeland.

Al-Yamahi also underscored the necessity of implementing the ceasefire agreement in Gaza in all its stages and provisions, and maintaining its sustainability. He emphasized the importance of ensuring humanitarian support reaches all parts of the Gaza Strip and removing all obstacles to aid entry. He expressed complete rejection of any attempts to divide the Gaza Strip and stressed the necessity of complete withdrawal of occupation forces, advocating for the Palestinian Authority to assume its duties in the Gaza Strip as an integral part of the occupied Palestinian territory, along with the West Bank and Jerusalem.

Furthermore, Al-Yamahi called on the international community, the peoples of the free world, and regional and international parliaments to support the oppressed Palestinian people. He urged support for joint Arab efforts on the Palestinian issue, affirming the inalienable rights of the Palestinian people and rejecting any attempts to displace them or seize their land by force.
