Beirut: Norwegian Ambassador to Lebanon, Hilde Haraldstad, on Thursday delivered a message from King Harald V of Norway to President Michel Aoun. The message congratulated President Aoun on his election and emphasized Norway's commitment to strengthening its ties with Lebanon.
According to National News Agency - Lebanon, during the meeting, President Aoun also discussed the status of the Lebanese community in Liberia and Mali with Lebanese Ambassador to Liberia and Mali, Henry Kastoun. Ambassador Kastoun provided an overview of the bilateral relations with both African nations, highlighting areas of cooperation and the challenges faced by the Lebanese diaspora.
The discussions underscored the importance of maintaining and enhancing diplomatic relations and addressing the needs of Lebanese communities abroad. Both parties expressed their commitment to continue working on these fronts.
