United Arab Emirates Condemns Attack on UNIFIL Vehicle Near Beirut Airport

Beirut: The United Arab Emirates strongly condemned the incident of burning a vehicle belonging to the peacekeeping forces (UNIFIL) near Beirut Airport, which led to the injury of a member of the international force, according to what was reported by the Emirati news agency, WAM. According to National News Agency - Lebanon, the UAE affirmed its firm stance and support for Lebanon, its sovereignty, and territorial integrity. The nation emphasized its backing for the important role played by the United Nations peacekeeping force in Lebanon. The UAE expressed its solidarity with the countries participating in the UNIFIL forces and extended its wishes for a speedy recovery for the injured person.
