Beirut: President of the Republic, General Joseph Aoun, extended congratulatory messages to Saudi Arabia's leadership on the occasion of the country's Foundation Day. In a cable to King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, President Aoun expressed pride in the deep-rooted historical ties between Lebanon and Saudi Arabia. He conveyed his best wishes for the continued prosperity and peace of Saudi Arabia.
According to National News Agency - Lebanon, President Aoun also sent a similar message to Saudi Crown Prince, Prime Minister Prince Mohammed bin Salman. In his message, Aoun underscored the enduring unity and solidarity within the Kingdom and reaffirmed his commitment to strengthening the relationship between Lebanon and Saudi Arabia. He emphasized the mutual love and appreciation that bind the Lebanese and Saudi peoples, acknowledging Saudi Arabia's support for Lebanon during challenging times.
President Aoun reiterated his determination to enhance fraternal relations across various fields for the mutual benefit of both nations. He expressed confidence that the ties between Lebanon and Saudi Arabia would remain robust, serving the interests of both countries.
