Beirut: House Speaker Nabih Berri met today at Ain al-Tineh Palace with Prime Minister Nawaf Salam, discussing the general situation and political and field developments amid Israel's continued violations of the ceasefire and Resolution 1701.
According to National News Agency - Lebanon, Speaker Berri also examined developments and matters related to the telecommunications sector during his meeting with Tele-Communications Minister Charles Hajj.
In addition, Speaker Berri received the head of the Public Procurement Authority in Lebanon, Judge Jean Aliieh, to discuss the Public Procurement Law and emphasize the need to issue its implementing decrees.
