Beirut: Speaker Nabih Berri welcomed several delegations at the second presidency headquarters in Ain El Tineh. The meetings included discussions with representatives from La Regie Libanaise Des Tabacs Et Tombacs (Regie), the Lebanese Association of Certified Public Accountants, and the new Director General of the Internal Security Forces.
According to National News Agency - Lebanon, Engineer Nassif Seklaoui, the Board Chairman and Director General of Regie, led a delegation to brief Speaker Berri on the institution's recent achievements and ongoing projects. The discussions highlighted the Regie's strategic programs being implemented amidst current challenges.
Following this, Speaker Berri met with a delegation from the Lebanese Association of Certified Public Accountants. Led by President Elie Abboud, the delegation outlined plans for the upcoming 22nd International Conference, which is set to focus on "Financial Inclusion for a Sustainable Economy." The Syndicate's work programme, addressing both professional and national priorities, was also presented.
In a separate meeting, Major General Raed Abdullah, the new Director General of the Internal Security Forces, visited Speaker Berri for a protocol meeting following his recent appointment.
