Cabinet Session Kicks Off Under Chairmanship of PM Nawaf Salam

Beirut: Prime Minister, Dr. Nawaf Salam, is currently presiding over a Cabinet session attended by Deputy Prime Minister, Dr. Tarek Mitri, and several key ministers. The session includes the presence of ministers responsible for finance, culture, defense, energy and water, tourism, social affairs, foreign affairs and emigrants, economy and trade, the displaced and information technology affairs, interior and municipalities, justice, telecommunications, youth and sports, education and higher education, industry, administrative development affairs, labor, public works and transport, agriculture, information, environment, and public health. According to National News Agency - Lebanon, the session is also attended by the Director-General of the Presidency, Dr. Antoine Choucair, and the Secretary General of the Council of Ministers, Judge Mahmoud Makkieh. The gathering seeks to address various ongoing administrative and legislative matters pertinent to the nation's governance.
