Salam Urges Action to Halt Attacks on Southern Suburbs

Beirut: Prime Minister Nawaf Salam has denounced Israel's continued attacks on Lebanon, emphasizing the impact on civilians eager to return to normal life. Salam has called for immediate action from countries sponsoring the ceasefire agreement to stop these attacks and expedite Israel's withdrawal from Lebanese territory.

According to National News Agency - Lebanon, Salam stressed Lebanon's commitment to the provisions of Resolution 1701 and the security arrangements agreement. He highlighted the ongoing efforts of the Lebanese Army to extend the authority of the state and ensure that the possession of weapons is restricted to state control. The Prime Minister emphasized the need for international intervention to maintain peace and security in the region.
