Beirut: House Speaker Nabih Berri met with Interior and Municipalities Minister Ahmad al-Hajjar at the second presidency headquarters in Ain al-Tineh. The discussion focused on the general situation and the latest political updates, with a particular emphasis on security developments.
According to National News Agency - Lebanon, Berri and al-Hajjar also reviewed the preparations for the final phase of the municipal and mayoral elections in the South and Nabatieh governorates. These elections are scheduled to take place next Saturday.
